Year 4 Teacher – South Birmingham Full Time

Empowering Learning are delighted to be representing a primary school in South Birmingham who are looking for a experienced Year 4 teacher for the interim period from Easter to the end of the academic year.

The school is three form entry on the outskirts of the city centre. The Head Teacher is looking for a teacher with experience in teaching KS2 with confidence. The desired teacher will be resilient but approachable with an engaging teaching style as some of the class have challenging behaviour at times.

The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last inspection and has high standards for both its teachers and pupils. The Teachers and Teaching Assistants are a close-knit team so the preferred Teacher should have a friendly and ‘team player’ attitude. This position is not suitable for NQT’s.

What you’ll need to succeed

You must hold QTS
Be passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and be enthusiastic in your approach
To be supportive, positive and caring
Driving is not essential but is desirable.
