My client is one of the UK’s leading cosmetic surgery and weight loss surgery provider, with a number of hospitals and clinics up and down the country, providing an excellent, personalised service to their clients. They are now expanding and looking for a Theatre Practitioner to join them in their Birmingham hospital
Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of the ward, communicating effectively with other areas in the hospital ensuring that everything is running in a cohesive manner
• Assist the Hospital Manager with recruitment of new team members
• Ensuring the ward team participate in performance reviews and undertaking appraisals, competency management, absence management and monitoring annual leave
• Provide leadership to the nursing team to enable a patient focused approach to ensure a cost effective and premium service to customers
• Act as a mentor for nurses and non-clinical staff

Requirements

• Be a registered RGN with the NMC
• Be experienced in leading a motivated and dedicated team of nurses
• Have excellent time management, decision making and prioritisation skills
• Have relevant qualifications in nursing
• Have full comprehension of all legislations and policies
