On behalf of our client, a well-established retail bank based in the West Midlands, we are looking for a Treasury Accountant to join their team.
You will undertake a range of Treasury-related specialisms and technical accounting processes and analysis that will support the integrity of the Group’s general ledger, financial and regulatory reporting, drive insight and improve decision making.
Act as the subject matter expert for specialist and potentially complex technical areas, particularly in respect of Treasury related items, including hedge accounting, regulatory reporting, and interpretation of accounting standards and/or financial modelling
Skills & Experience required:
Accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Treasury Accountant
Experience of forecasting and analysis in respect of balance sheet management, liquidity, interest risk and hedging.
