Title: Town Planner

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £25,000 to £32,000

A Highly motivated, ambitious Town Planner is required by one of the leading planning consultancies in the UK. My client is specialising in a wide variety of major planning projects including Retail, Residential, Health care and education. With an enviable client list, along with the highest calibre multi-disciplinary team, my client can offer exceptional opportunities to showcase your talents and really flourish within their established team.

The key responsibilities will include the preparation of planning applications and appeals whilst also being able to liaise with clients and fellow professionals. You will contribute to the preparation /editing of planning support statements and assist in developing creative and original solutions to satisfy all parties.

The ideal candidate will be an independent, hardworking individual who lives and breathes Town Planning. Confident, Focused and highly driven, the Town Planner will have an expert knowledge of local planning legislation and regulations along with determination to become a full-fledged member of the RTPI if not already. The Town Planner will thrive under pressure and have excellent written skills along with being able to deliver fantastic levels of service
