Storage & BackUps Engineer
Overall Job Purpose:
• To have responsibility for the management of both platform and customer backups, develop and improve service.
• Responsibility for the Sentinel platform storage systems.
Main Duties of the Job:
• Ensure successful operation of backups across both the management and customer environments whilst making sure we operate within the defined SLA’s.
• Continue to develop and improve the backups systems and processes/ documentation.
• Ensure successful operation of the Sentinel disk storage systems across both the management and customer environments whilst making sure we operate within the defined SLA’s.
• Continue to develop and improve the systems and processes / documentation.
• Knowledge sharing within the team and skills transfer where appropriate.
