The systems they develop and maintain are used by a very significant number of oil majors globally who have an interest in these activities.

Their multi-disciplinary team based in Longbridge, Birmingham, currently numbers 22, with an emphasis on technical and analytical skill-sets. They are an engineer-led company, with the management team themselves involved in day-to-day technical activity amongst the team.

Detailed Job Specification

The successful candidate will join a small, highly skilled & motivated team of multi-disciplined software developers working on web applications and services used across the Marine Industry.

Historically the majority of their development has been focused on the .NET technology stack, but recently they have adopted a number of Java based systems and so they are looking to increase their expertise in this domain by the addition of an experienced Java developer to the team.

They are looking for multi-disciplined and self-motivated software developers with at least 5 years of commercial Java experience. This is a multi-faceted role – all of their development team are involved in the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering & analysis through to development, support, configuration & release management and on-going maintenance.
