Our Client, a market leader in Coleshill are recruiting an experienced Software Developer to join their expanding team.

To develop, build, test and maintain application software to be used by customers and operations staffs.

Key Accountabilities

To understand the functional role of the organisation and its role within the wider organisation
To write code to agreed standards in the defined languages that may change from time to time
To work within a specialised team developing software products for a defined market and technology
To ensure that the written code conforms to the requirements given by the development manager and that the duly created code is fit for purpose
To ensure that the written code conforms to the quality standards of the development team
To assure that code produced is of the highest standard with the lowest failure rate possible for the work package parameters provided
Accurately assess and estimate for any given specification the personal development effort required to complete that job
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
Develop within an agile development environment

Additional responsibility may be agreed on a temporary or permanent basis to meet the business programme of growth or to support individuals’ development
Carry out reasonable tasks as requested by the line manager
To take responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and others whilst at work
To undertake continual learning, whether by structured training or ad-hoc personal development to ensure that skills are current and fit for the market.

Personal Specifications

Candidates to be trained to graduate level
Competence to good standard
Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Azure environment
Fully commercially proficient with ASP.NET
Fully commercially proficient with Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL
Demonstrable commercial experience of the full software development lifecycle
Experience in client side programming including HTML,CSS v3, JavaScript, AJAX and JQUERY
Delivery of software solutions to specification
To deliver on time and to agreed targeted deadlines
Robust testing of software
Quality and Quantity of work and attitude adopted
Working Hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 17.30pm
