We have a Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Global Consultancy based in Birmingham.

My Client is a well established, respectable consultancy with a chain of offices based widely in the UK as well as overseas. They offer a varied range of services including Building Surveying, Contract Solutions, Project Management and Quantity Surveying. Projects can range from £100,000 to over £300 million and cover a wide range of both private and public sectors working with some of the UK’s flagship clients.

After a successful year of growth during 2014 throughout the UK and Worldwide they are now actively looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in their head office in Birmingham to help with the growth of the business. This candidate will be responsible for projects from start to finish and will be the first point of contact for client negotiations, so confidence in talking to people is essential to the role.

The most successful candidate must have the following:

Come from a consultancy background and have gained experience in running projects of a minimum £5 million in value.

Must have a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying and be a member of RICS.

*
Have a confident, outgoing but also professional personality.

*
And have a ‘can do’ attitude when faced with a large project.
