Senior Project Leader / Construction Manager Contract

The Company

An international market leading construction contractor operating across a number of sectors including education, retail, residential and property services, values range from £10m up to £200m+.

The Role

As a highly experienced Senior Project Leader / Construction Manager operating within the West Midlands, you will be tasked to deliver a new build residential scheme from concept to completion with a value in excess of £80m+. You'll be responsible for liaising with all project stakeholders and overseeing all works performed ensuring they are completed to specification, on budget and time.

Duties

• Supervise a team of Project Managers, whilst reporting all works to the visiting Project Director
• Complete work rota schedules
• Liaise with the pre-construction team
• Command clean up notices and NCR's
• Perform material and waste management
• Attend meetings and complete site reports
• Adhere to the SHEQ management system
• Apply compliance when working in live environments
• Maintain lifting measures and equipment inspections
• Complete and maintain in-house audits and inspections
• Coach the Assistant Site Manager and junior members of staff
• Ensure packages are of the upmost quality and perform measuring techniques
• Responsible for keeping a high level of logistic planning as well as control temporary works
• Monitor the day to day running of the scheme and communicate with all relevant department members
• Work with the Resident Liaison Officer and be equally accountable for the resolution of resident and public complaints
• Enforce strict SHEQ measures throughout the scheme, working directly with the Health & Safety team and supply chain members

Desirables

• Previous tier one experience in delivering £50m+ residential schemes
• Degree / HNC / HND or membership with MCIOB or MAPM
• Operating Fieldview, Viewpoint and Microsoft packages
