You will support the business in the accurate and timely delivery of pricing strategy throughout the business. A global organisation that has been in business for over 50 years. You will be working at their UK Headquarters where the 200+ employees support their customers and delivers a real, high class service.
Using customer and competitor data, you will assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategy with a focus on reviewing margins and trade structure to assure product pricing is competitive.
Development of models and structures that will then be delivered to the sales teams in order for them to effectively sell the product to new and existing customers.
Train and develop junior members of the teams and establish best practice within the team.
Development and generation of competitor reports for analysis to ensure the business stays 1 step ahead at all times.
What you need:
Previous experience as a Pricing analyst or Senior Pricing Analyst is essential. It would be an advantage to have worked within a large, complex environment. However, you can have worked within a smaller business as long as there were high levels of SKU’s or product lines.
Microsoft Excel skills with experience of pivot tables, complex formulas and v look-ups are essential.
Ability to train and mentor junior members of the team.
You will need to have the ability to turn data into a format easily understood by the business.
You will need to have strong communication and presentation skills and to be comfortable talking to a room of people.
Experienced in using Microsoft PowerPoint as you will regularly use this to present your findings.
Ability to travel both the UK and abroad.
The role is based in Solihull and has great transport links from Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick. There is on site parking for those that drive.
