My client is looking for a Senior Commissioning Manager to join the mental health commissioning team in Birmingham, to undertake both locality and at scale commissioning of mental health services for children and young people. This is an exciting opportunity for you to accelerate improvements in local children and young peoples mental health care and support.

You will be responsible for delivering key priorities and programmes. This includes leading the commissioning process. You will primarily take responsibility for delivery in the locality, but will work closely with mental health commissioners across Birmingham and as such will have also Birmingham wide responsibilities. My client’s ideal candidate will be committed to improving emotional wellbeing and mental health support for children and young people in Birmingham. You will have excellent communication and programme management skills and have experience of leading and managing complex change. You will have experience of commissioning and ideally experience, through clinical practice, provider organisations or commissioning, of working within children and young peoples mental health.
