SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant needed immediately in Birmingham!

This role requires supporting students with various abilities such as moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs and will include some challenging behaviour. The post requires an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND TA / Special Educational needs Teaching Assistant in BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE to have the opportunity to work in our Primary and secondary schools.

We are looking for TA / Teaching Assistant to cover day to day, short term and long-term placements supporting children with their education. We build great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you and this is an exciting opportunity to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile!

The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:

Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with SEND
Experience in working with supporting students 1:1 and a small group basis
A calm, patient, and compassionate personality
Confident and excellent communication skills
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance!
