Regulatory and Cross Product Operations is a division which assists in ensuring Deutsche Bank sends all reportable messages in the timeframes required whilst submitting trade information which correctly reflects that which was executed and is present in Deutsche Bank’s books and records. You will focus on the accuracy of this reporting and review large data sets and make determinations on the quality and correctness of our reporting data. Where issues found, propose solutions and deliver change. You will develop great knowledge of regulatory rules, systems and products, and build relationships across diverse groups.

Your key responsibilities

• Perform key regulatory controls, support the remediation of reporting exceptions and investigation into the root causes behind them – this will involve partnership with both Technology teams and trading desks
• Investigating and appropriately escalating any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation or any other stream to management to ensure transparency exists in our controls
• Proactively driving issue resolution to ensure improvements to our reporting performance metrics in a timely manner
• Working closely with Information Technology to develop long term strategic solutions
• Documenting and tracking requirements, plans, risks, issues, actions and commitments

Your skills and experience

• A solid and robust control orientated background and comfortable with Excel
• An analytical/logical mind-set with a good approach to problem solving
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies/deficiencies and design solutions to mitigate these
• Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritise multiple tasks and projects
• A clear understanding of how to represent/communicate information or evidence in a manner which is appropriate for differing audiences
