Being Registered Manager for F5 is a unique opportunity, one that will allow you to have a direct influence on the shaping of the service as we move forward whilst also having a full oversight of the day to day practice. With this is mind we are looking for a Registered Manager that excels in ensuring outstanding quality standards are consistently being adhered to and all aspects of regulatory work is compliant in line with Fostering Regulations, Minimum Standards and other related legislation/guidance (including the Social Care Inspection Framework). In particular we will be looking forward to hearing about how you have assured yourself of this in previous roles.
This role is a central pillar to the service and as such you will need to provide the support and oversight to your Social Team, currently we have 1 Supervising Social Worker and 2 Independent Social Workers. We also have a strong and diverse Panel with independent Panel and Medical Advisors. All are looking forward to welcoming our new Registered Manager. Qualified Social Worker (HCPC Registered)
At least two years’ experience relevant to fostering within the last five years
At least one years’ experience supervising and managing professional staff
Ideally possesses a qualification in management at least at level 4 (this qualification can be provided for the right applicant if needed)
Good knowledge and experience of law and practice relating to looked after children
