Quantity Surveyor – Birmingham – Permanent

Due to continued growth my client is looking to expand the existing Commercial Team. They require a Quantity Surveyor with experience within the House Building sector.

A knowledge of main contracting preferable however a consultancy background will be considered. Project values range from £4m – £20m but typically £5m – £20m AVG.

The candidate will need to have strong experience in the house building sector due to the large number of units involved in each project.Office based role with site visits once a week.

Requirements:
*Degree Qualified however time served experience will be considered
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a quantity Surveyor within the Construction Industry
*Self-motivated with experience of running own jobs
*Proactive and able to speak out in order to contribute to the team
*Ambition to develop within the business is a plus Must be responsible for negotiating and dealing with sub-contractors
