Our client, a locally based contractor specialising in a variety of construction sectors, civil engineering and project management are presenting an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them as they undertake a number of exciting new projects, securing their continual future growth.
The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have a proven track record working on all types of construction sectors and materials and will have worked on multiple projects ranging from £1 – £5 million.

Responsibilities:
Manage sub-contractors tender and procurement
Production and agreement of monthly valuation accounts
Managing cash project cash-flow
Checking and approving accounts and claims from sub-contractors
Schedule of rates
Highlighting and escalating commercial risksEssential Skills:
A minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveyor experience
A history of a stable background is essential
Experience working on multiple projects ranging between £1 million and £5 million is essential
Experience working on all market sectors preferred
A degree in an industry related qualification preferred but not essential
Sound ability to prioritise, time-manage and honour deadlines
Quick learner, good assessor and retainer of information
