Procurement/Category Manager IT Services – Banking Full Time

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Role Context

• Working towards the overall cost reduction target ($300m) globally to achieve by the end 2020
• They will be directly responsible for the delivery of category strategy and planning
• Sitting on relevant leadership committees to influence appropriate forums and business functions.
• Provide responses and solutions for numerous diverse and complex purchasing, contractual and logistical issues.
• Overseeing relationships with key 3rd party IT vendors.

The key experience they are looking for is as follows

• Significant IT procurement experience and specific experience within category management of IT Services.
• A wealth of experience in IT consulting, systems integration services managed services and resourcing Category Management.
• Highly experienced within negotiation and managing large value procurement
• Experience working in complex, multi layered organizations, Financial services is a nice to have but not a necessity
• Holder of CIPS related qualifications.
