An excellent opportunity has come available offering the chance to join a highly successful, international multi-disciplinary building services consultancy in Birmingham as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer.

This consultancy have been operating for over 30 years and have since developed an international presence allowing them to work on some terrific projects across the globe. As the Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be joining a team of 20 within the existing building services division to contribute towards the completion of profitable projects in sectors such as; education, healthcare and commercial to name a few.

Your new role would see you working closely with the Associate, contributing to the delivery of projects, management of client relationships and the management of a team. This will give you a platform to build on your own skills and take on a managerial role in the future.

In your previous roles, you should have experienced managing designs in line with client briefs/project requirements, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on designs produced by junior members of the team. Ideally, you will also have some experience of contributing to the management of projects including; commercial, financial and project management as this will be a key part of your new role.

Applicants will ideally hold a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering and have extensive consultancy experience.

You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum and a company car or car allowance. Other benefits include; 28 hols + 8 stat. days, paid professional subscriptions and a discretionary profit share to name just a few.
