Principal Highway Engineer Full Time

Principal Highway Engineer urgently required to get involved in a wide range of national and international projects from Highways England work, local authority frameworks and major infrastructure projects. This role can be based from almost any location in the UK, with a combination of office and home based working.

Key experience required:

·Good working knowledge of Highways Design and DMRB with Highways England standards
·BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering
·AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge/understanding
·Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards), MICE or equivalent
·Good knowledge of BIM procedures
·Experienced in project delivery including reports, drawings and specifications
·Full UK driving licence

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

·Design activities and project management, depending on the size of the project
·Lead design teams and act as the highway lead to deliver major highways projects on time and within budget
·Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety (including CDM Regulations), quality, and training
·Provide guidance, instruct, motivate, and manage assigned staff on the project
·Prove ability in financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, fee preparation, and allocation
·Able to prepare single discipline bid documentation (in association with other disciplines)
