TM Resourcing (Technical Division) are recruiting for a Portfolio Manager for a client in the Yardley area.

Salary – £40,000-£50,000 per annum

Ideal candidate:

Education – Degree Educated with formal property qualification

Minimum of 10 years experience

Background – likely to be from within property management company/consultancy/large end user client

Responsibilities:

Co-ordinating with tenants for collection of all rents, service charges, insurance & any other ad-hoc charges in a timely manner

Dealing with day-to-day property managemtn

Negotiating and monitoring

Dealing with the recovery of any expenditure

Maintaining a property database

Diarising all break clauses

Building good relationships with occupiers

To ensure compliance in relation to Health & Safety

Property inspections

Acquisition or disposals of property

Attendance at court and tribunals when required to represent company

Building audits by building surveyors or other consultants

To arrange for insurance cover over buildings or property

Monthly review all properties via a property management report with senior management

To co-ordinate the letting and leasing of premises on the basis of either short or long leases
