PMLD Teacher Needed for SEND School Full Time

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teacher with expeirence teaching students with PMLD across key stages 3 and 4.

An excellent SEND school with an excellent reputation in North Birmingham is seeking to appoint a PMLD Teacher. The post is initially on a week by week basis, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right Teacher. The Headteacher is looking for someone with excellent classroom management, who teaches with an enthusiastic and nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning. The small class of students all have learning difficulties and physical difficulties and ASD. Some have very complex needs.

You will have the opportunity to teach small classes and will be supported by fantastic LSAs / Learning Support Assistants. At least 6 months’ experience working in a special needs setting is essential.

Applicants need to have:

* QTS
* A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
* Experience working in SEND settings
* The ability to create diverse lessons suiting various needs and abilities
