A large insurance company in Birmingham City Centre are currently recruiting for a new team of Pet Insurance Customer Service Advisors due to an extensive period of growth.

As a Pet Insurance Customer Service Advisor, you will deal with incoming calls regarding customer queries, policy amendments and complaints. It is key that you are able to provide a first-class level of customer service on every call always looking to go the extra mile and resolve any problems that the customer may have. Given the type of insurance you will be dealing with, an interest in animals and pets in general will be beneficial so that you can build rapport with customers and show empathy when needed.
You will also then have the opportunity to develop into the sales department offering new insurance quotations to customer offering the best possible level of service to encourage them to join the business.
To be considered you must be able to provide excellent customer service and be able to display previous experience of this. Ideally this will be within a contact centre environment however other experience may also be considered as long as you can display excellent examples of the customer service experience you have. You will need to have a positive and enthusiastic nature with the desire to build a long-term career.
You will need to have a flexible approach to work as you will work varied shift patterns including a 12-8 shift and 1 in 3 Saturdays. The start date for the position is 17th February 2020 which you must be able to commit to, as there will be a first-class training programme you must be available for the first 6 weeks with no prior holiday commitments.
