Advanced Diesel Engineering is a Generator and Switchgear Acoustic housing specialist responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and service of our unique products.
Due to continued investment, we are looking for experienced Paint Technicians to join our team on a permanent basis. Applicants for work at Advanced are expected to have previous experience within an engineering setting.
The position is aimed someone who is willing to assist in our industrial spray painting team, general prepping, masking up, paint mixing and general labouring duties.
The successful candiadte will be expected to support all areas of the workshop as workload demands. Candidates should be able to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
You will have a keen eye for detail and be used to working to very high specifications and standards, whilst working to tight deadlines in a fast paced production environment.
No formal school qualifications are needed to secure a position with the business, candidates should have basic numeracy and computer skills.

To support our continued growth we are looking for enthusiasitc individuals to undertake an apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding.
Applicants are expected to have previous experience within the engineering sector and have an interest in welding and fabricating as well as good numeracy and mechanical skills and ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 – overtime available
