A facilities provider in Birmingham requires a Multi-Skilled Engineer to provide ongoing temporary support
Your new company
A national facilities management organisation is looking for temporary support in one of their Birmingham sites. this organisation provide facilities management services to a variety of businesses including attractions, retail and manufacturing. This particular area of the business manages the facilities of a large food manufacturer.
Your new role
Within this role, you will work on both an individual basis and within a team of 5 engineers. You will report into the Project Manager, and be required to assist with a variety of maintenance areas such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fabric (painting and decorating) and general handyman assistance. You will work 40 hours p/week, across Monday-Friday, however there is overtime available to work across the weekend. This role is an ongoing temporary role and has been given a minimum contract of 3 months, however some previous engineers have been in position for over 12 months now.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is vital that you have experience as a multi-skilled engineer, and have supported commercial businesses in all maintenance areas described above. Flexibility to work overtime if the business need it will be advantageous and qualifications are not necessary but are desirable.
