We are recruiting for a recognised SME company based in the Market Harborough area. Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will form part of a management team responsible for all financial/administration functions.
The postholder will be responsible for the implementation of all finance operating systems, including reporting and auditing.
Main responsibilities would include the following:
Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting including the production of monthly P & L’s.
To prepare full monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the Finance Director.
Produce quarterly VAT Returns.
Support quarterly planning and business plan reviews.
Support Contract Administration and Contract Managers with respect to financial reporting and controls.
Produce information for clients as required.
Ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary.
For this role it is essential that applicants have excellent analytical, planning and IT skills.
The postholder will have relevant experience and ideally be a part-qualified / qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant. The individual will be able to communicate at all levels, be a team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative under pressure to meet tight deadlines
