Management Accountant Permanent

We are recruiting for a recognised SME company based in the Market Harborough area. Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will form part of a management team responsible for all financial/administration functions.

The postholder will be responsible for the implementation of all finance operating systems, including reporting and auditing.

Main responsibilities would include the following:

• Accurate and timely monthly financial reporting including the production of monthly P & L’s.
• To prepare full monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for review by the Finance Director.
• Produce quarterly VAT Returns.
• Support quarterly planning and business plan reviews.
• Support Contract Administration and Contract Managers with respect to financial reporting and controls.
• Produce information for clients as required.
• Ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary.

For this role it is essential that applicants have excellent analytical, planning and IT skills.

The postholder will have relevant experience and ideally be a part-qualified / qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant.  The individual will be able to communicate at all levels, be a team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Salary £32,000 – £38,000 + Benefits
