Management Accountant Contract

A Management Accountant is required to work on a 6 month fixed term contract for this Stratford based client.

The successful Management Accountant will ideally be part qualified with previous experience in a similar role supporting month end and completing balance sheet reconciliations.

Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include the following:

*Accounting / Month end Responsibilities
*Preparation of Month End accounts from GL to TB stage
*Includes posting of journals, accruals, prepayments
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Investigation of variances
*Reconciliation of key customer and vendor accounts
*Reconciliation of sales and purchase accounts
*Sales and Customer Support
*Weekly aged debt analysis and customer debt summary
*Weekly receipts and payments forecasting
*Creation and issuing sales and seed purchase contracts
*Following up with customers for late payments
*Plant Accounting (Cover for Plant accountant)
*Prepare daily production report
*Support analysing production efficiencies – energy, productivity, chemical usage
*Stock control
*Fixed Assets (cover for Plant Accountant)
*Capital Spend reporting
*Spare Parts control and reconciliation

Please note this client is in a rural location with no public transport.

The successful candidate will be required to commence asap.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
