The Role
You will need to be a time served engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias and have FMCG or similar machinery experience. If you have worked on PLC systems in fast moving manufacturing machinery, this would be a great advantage. Also, able and willing to work on drives, motors, and general process improvements and other associated manufacturing machinery. You will have a detailed understanding of engineering within an automated process manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering projects and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
