Our client is currently seeking an experienced Income Officer to liaise with residents that have fallen into rent arrears and manage a patch containing up to 1,000 properties.
Below is a brief overview of the main duties and responsibilities of the role:
• Manage caseloads of rent accounts that have fallen into arrears • Work alongside residents to reduce the levels of rent arrears • Manage rent accounts to maximise the income for the organisation • Complete income and expenditure documents to create affordable repayment plans • Prepare and present rent arrears cases at court level • Refer residents to the money advice team where necessary
You will also have:
• Experience providing excellent customer service, ideally within a local authority or social housing setting • Strong communication skills both written and verbally • The ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on a on-going contract
The successful Income Management Officer will be immediately available and will demonstrate a strong knowledge and understand of PCOL.
