Geography Teacher needed for a Secondary School in Birmingham

£(Apply online only) per day depending on experienceA ‘Good’ rated secondary school based in inner-city of Birmingham requires a Geography specialist to join their team asap to cover long term sickness. This is an opportunity to work in a school which has been recognised by Ofsted as having strong leadership and behaviour management. The successful candidate will have previous experience teaching Geography and a strong curriculum knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Teaching Geography KS3 – KS4 – cjurrently remote learning all resources will be supported by the school
Lesson planning
Extra responsibilities will include parents evening, CPD and assisting with extra curriculum activities.Job requirements:

Previous experience teaching Geography to KS4
Strong behaviour management skills
A working knowledge of the UK curriculum
Confident presence in the classroom
Be able to provide two working references
