Position: Finance Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 p/a
Benefits: Annual bonus based on profits, free car parking
Flexible working:  1 – 3 days in the office whilst in lockdown and during any future tiered restrictions

Location: Near Stratford Upon Avon

My client is an established service company working with large organisations and some renowned global brands.  They are committed to providing their clients with an exemplary level of support and pride themselves on their consistent success over the past 4 decades.

They are now seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the team and take charge of the businesses accounts operations with the support the accounts administrator.  You will need excellent people skills and supervisory/management experience coupled with an extensive background in finance and accountancy.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and full training that will continue throughout their employment.

Daily tasks will include:

• Processing invoices, payments and transactions
• Entering accruals, prepayments and journals
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Managing other accounts staff
• Tax computations and submissions
• Preparing control accounts and reconciliation schedules to agree balance sheet figures
• Ad hoc duties as required

Experience and skills required

• Minimum of 3 years Finance/accountancy experience
• Excellent working knowledge of Quickbooks accountancy software is essential
• Good working knowledge of Sage
• Able to solve problems and initiate new processes and procedures to improve performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Management/supervisory experience
• A strong team player willing to assist colleagues as required
• Able to add commentary for the management accounts and advise senior management about performance and improvement areas
• Flexible attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Excellent time management
• Able to learn new tasks quickly
• AAT or CIMA qualified is advantageous
