In a Nutshell:

As our Finance Manager (Joint Ventures) you will be responsible for the production of all weekly, monthly and cashflow reports, monthly working capital management, annual Statutory Accounts and Audits. This is a front-end role liaising closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate information is presented to the local Board, Joint Venture Boards and Group stakeholders. The role has a team of 1 reporting directly to it but you will need to be able to work across the department and other departments to be successful as well as close interaction with the Finance teams in our joint venture partners. You will be joining a successful FTSE250 volume housebuilder, Vistry Western has its regional office in Bristol with a turnover of £175m from an average of 14 developments across the West Country. The region has successfully entered a number of Joint Venture arrangements with a number of different stakeholders to be supported. What we would like from you:

Key Responsibilities –

• Manage production of weekly sales and build reports.
• Attendance at weekly sales/build meetings and monthly valuation meetings.
• Ensure integrity of Coins and Anaplan accounting systems.
• Liaising closely with our JV partners to ensure working capital management is effective.
• Attend monthly commercial valuation meeting to ensure site margins are struck at the appropriate level.
• Manage the weekly cashflow forecast and JV drawdowns.
• Monthly management Accounts and forecast models are prepared correctly.
• Prepare and support FC/FD during the preparation of the monthly forecast pack
• Submit monthly forecasts on Anaplan to Division and Group Finance.
• Work closely with the FD, MD, and our partners in preparing ad-hoc management reports as required.

• Able to cope under pressure and to tight timescales
• Attention to detail
• Working capital management experience
• Able to liaise with all levels of the organisation
• Joint Venture experience and advantage
• Construction or house-building experience an advantage
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
