Finance Assistant
Location: Stoke, Stoke on Trent
Salary: £22,105 per annum
Hours: 35 hours a week (9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing date: Monday 08 March 2021
 
Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant with sales ledger and credit control experience to join their Finance team. You’ll be supporting the team with invoices, management reporting, processing rent and any other ad-hoc tasks. You’ll also be working with people across the Group, helping them with finance enquiries.
 
Job requirements:
Raising invoices and maintaining the sales ledger
Helping the team with management reporting
Processing rent and other bank payments
Reporting on daily cashflows
Fixed asset recognition and reconciliation
Processing insurance claims
Assisting with day-to-day tasks of the Finance team
Working with people from across the Group and helping with Finance enquiries
 
Our client is looking for:
Someone with an AAT qualification or equivalent
Understanding of raising invoices, sales ledgers and credit control
Basic understanding of fixed assets, insurance, management reporting, audit trails and VAT would be useful
Great IT and excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and being a team player is essential too
