Walters People have partnered with a leading organisation based in Birmingham who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant on a permanent basis in a newly created role due to continued growth.
This position would best suit a driven individual who has a minimum 2 years previous experience working in a busy, fast paced Finance team.
Main responsibilities for the Finance Assistant will be: * Invoice preparation and management * Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution by telephone, letter, fax or email. * Cost collection and ensuring all rechargeable costs are charged * Assist in WIP and Stocktake involvement * Ensuring all payroll cross charge are captured * Process expenses and credit card cost and process petty cash each month * Support accounts payable and accounts receivable when required
Key Experience as the Finance Assistant: * Previous experience working in an all rounded Finance Assistant role is essential * Strong knowledge of all Microsoft office packages; Outlook, Word and Excel * Good interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service * Excellent attention to detail * Strong team player
