The opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Development Manager to cover our full dealership network. Reporting into the Group Finance and Insurance Manager, you will work closely to support, guide and coach colleagues that sell regulated finance and insurance products in a drive to enhance performance while ensuring all sales are compliant with Swansway process and FCA guidelines.
You will act as a mentor for Business Managers (or finance and insurance sellers) and support the wider Management team in a fast-paced and targeted environment. You will be responsible for guiding the group on growing its finance and insurance performance ensuring maximum profitability.
You will have an understanding of all our brands and the funding requirements of our customers who purchase them, daily you will review and analyse performance for each dealership, spotted trends and recommendations for improvements and interventions as required.

Developing and coaching sales colleagues across the group to improve F&I performance
Understanding all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given following FCA and treating customers fairly principles
Developing solutions for Sales Process issues at individual / dealership level
Monitoring finance and insurance performance against budget; identifying and addressing shortfalls
Supporting Head of Business/General Managers with management of regulated sellers
Working with management teams to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives
Setting performance improvement plans and following up in a structured manner
Monitor performance, measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to Management
Supporting new starters in regulated finance selling roles
More about you
Experience working in a regulated finance management environment
A track record of outstanding performance
A strong mentor, leader and coach
An articulate communicator
Must have a valid driving licence and comfortable traveling covering our full dealership network
Ideally have a background in finance and insurance within a Motor Group or Finance Company background
