Field Service Engineer – UK or Ireland Based (remote and field) Must be strong mechanically (overhaul machinery), drive and have FMCG or Pharma manufacturing experinence.

Field Service Engineer can be based anywhere in UK i.e. Birmingham, Manchester, Scotland, London, Cornwall, Cumbria etc. or Ireland i.e. Dublin, Cork, Belfast, Shannon etc.

Field Service Engineer role will be working for a global leading automated solutions provider that has capitalised and expanded on their client base and is leading the market with bespoke automated solutions with machinery/line ranging from £10m-£30m for blue chip manufacturers. Global business that is growing from strength to strength and has invested heavily in advanced facilities, training and rewarding and recognition for employees. This puts them ahead of their competition in terms of product, delivery and customer support.

This role will be to Field Service Engineer is to service automated machinery for a varied client base (Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, Life Sciences and more) for the life cycle of after care.

Client facing role across the UK with some overseas travel for extra training
Visit various sites for mechanical maintenance of machinery

Will be performing major services so will need to be able to strip machines downs and rebuild
Call out for major mechanical breakdowns

Advise clients on best performanceField Service Engineer MUST HAVE’s

Mechanical apprenticeship/ qualifcations
Full driving license
Solid experience of automated machinery within a manufacturing ideally pharma, automotive or FMCG but others are accepted.
Used to travelling and staying away from home for small periods

Able to work to fine tolerances, overhauling machinery.
