To coordinate the sale of tools, spares and KD ensuring that customer requirements are satisfied on time and in full.
Establish and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
Receive customer orders, organize entry onto the MAP system and send confirmation to customers. Received by the 10th, entered by the 15th , Order confirmations by the 20th of each month.
Maintain tools order forecasts.
Organize administrative support for all sales related information, which includes pricing, monthly outstanding orders reports and annual budget forms.
Plan dispatches for the month in a manner that minimizes finished goods stocks, smoothing deliveries throughout the month.
Monitor the production schedule for on time delivery.
Handle customer requests or enquiries in a professional, timely and efficient manner. E-mails to be answered with in three hours
Coordinate cost effective transport for collection and delivery to maintain customer delivery date.
Coordinate the preparation of export documentation.
Have an understanding of Origin of preference and preparing of relevant documentation
Understanding of all modes of transport and documentation required
Understanding and Knowledge of Letter of Credits
Issuing of Shipping Instructions
Handle internal transport requests ensuring arrangement of suitable and cost effective transport.
Understand the quality and delivery requirements of all tasks.
Produce accurate, quality results first time with the minimum of supervision.
Participate in meeting departmental objectives.
High light potential issues and aid in the understanding and elimination of the root cause of problems.
Adhere to Makita procedures and be proactive in developing improvements.
Communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
NVQ Level 3 in business related or subject or equivalent.
GCSE or equivalent in English language and Mathematics.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Customer service experience
Production planning understanding
Background in high volume manufacturing environment
Word, Excel, Power point and general IT literacy

Customer requirements must be satisfied on time and in full with all customer requests/enquiries handled in a prompt and professional manner.
Must ensure that processes and procedures are adhered to at all times and contribute to ensuring they are fit for purpose.
