Electrical Estimator Full Time

Our client is a privately owned, rapidly growing electrical contractor based in Birmingham. The deliver a range of electrical services ranging from electrical installations to maintenance in a variety of environments such as retail, commercial and industrial. Due to continued growth and a surge in tender/bid opportunities they are now seeking an Electrical Estimator to provide support with the pricing of Electrical Projects and Services.

Duties will include the pricing of tender of electrical projects and services with new and existing clients, supporting the work winning team with the preparation and submission of tenders, reading drawings and calculating the cost of materials, labour and equipment hire, obtaining quotations from specialist contractors and making contact with clients when further information is needed to complete an accurate estimate.

The ideal candidate will have experience estimating for lighting and power/infrastructure projects up to a £1million size and ideally will have some maintenance and testing estimation experience as well. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The role comes with a salary up to £50,000 plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
