The Company:
Fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading turnkey contractor of bespoke structural building systems. This is an excellent opening for a designer to design state-of-the-art systems, providing practical functionality as well as maintaining the Company’s esteemed reputation.
The Role:
As a Draftsperson you will be creating and issuing full drawings for projects, including general arrangements, hot rolled, fabrications, marking plans and concrete decking plans
Draftsperson will enable fabrication (i.e. details on dimensions, welding, surface preparation, bolting etc) as well as erection, i.e. providing details of how to assemble the steel framing systems on site by contractors – welding, bolting, wedge anchors etc
The draftsperson will be working closely with other CAD Designers and Technicians, as well as Reporting into the Design Manager and occasionally the Technical Director
The draftsperson will also represent the company at both site and design team meetings
The Ideal Person:
Must be proficient in the AutoCAD and Tekla detailing software packages
Knowledge of detailing using cold rolled structures would be beneficial but not essential
If you are graduate who lacks professional experience still apply as we have other Design positions of a similar nature
