We are recruiting a Divisional Reporting Accountant reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller at our Pembridge site.
Responsibilities of our Divisional Reporting Accountant:
Responsibilities for this role include supporting the Divisional Financial Team with all financially based activities/projects, assisting with the financial and wider integration of new businesses, acquisitions, divestments within the Insulation Division. You will further improve and enhance the financial and reporting frameworks within the Insulation Division to ensure a consistency of approach and conformity with Group Accounting policies and procedures.
You will assist in the development and roll-out of standard Divisional budgeting, planning, forecasting and monthly reporting tools and other models, and assist in the management and development of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing Month-End reporting timetables. You will have the ability to analytically review key business areas in support of strategic plans, business objectives and profit improvement.
Skills and Experience required of our Divisional Reporting Accountant:
The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant however if you are studying for a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA we would welcome your application. Proven CPD is essential.
You will have management reporting experience including preparation of management accounts and experience of accounting systems and ERPs. Experience of Info PM, Cognos, Power BI tools and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage although not essential. Instinctive IT skills (a quick learner), and MS Office experience, specifically Excel, are essential. You will also have some database analytical skills and proven use.
Knowledge of, or experience in, manufacturing would be beneficial, as would project management and presentation skills. You must have the ability to influence senior management.
Flexibility is required as you will be required to travel to other sites worldwide as and when needed.
