Hays Talent Solutions
Exciting opportunity to join the demolition design team of a leading UK consulting and engineering company.
Your new company
Our client is one of the leading providers of consulting and engineering services for projects worldwide. Combining their multi-billion dollar resources with client-focused, local delivery, they now operate in over 400 locations across the globe, providing sustainable and resilient solutions for their clients.
Your new role
As their new Demolition Engineer, you will be joining an incredibly successful demolition engineering team. Your new role will be a mix of generating new work and also undertaking work generated by other parts of the business. You will be predominantly responsible for the design, drafting and report preparations while also being given the opportunity to supervise project activities on-site.
What you’ll need to succeed
To better your chances at success, you should come bearing a recognised engineering degree, and should have (or be working towards) IEng/CEng. Our client offers a training scheme for the ICE and will wholeheartedly support you in gaining the membership. Somebody with sound technical software experience would be better suited to this role, too, including AutoCAD. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant administration packages would also be an advantage. Most importantly, they’d just like you to demonstrate your experience and understanding of design and engineering, while also showing great social, interpersonal and communication skills. A full UK driving license is also required.
What you’ll get in return
When you join the team, not only will you be a part of a company that encourages individual progression, performance and collaboration, but you will receive a generous salary along with benefits that just make the role that little bit more worthwhile.
