Responsibilities for the role include –
Analyse current processes on-site and drive new continuous improvement, to help ensure the required quality, time frames and costings/budgets are adhered to.
Analyse current processes using CI/lean tools, to improve overall performance Techniques to be used may include – statistical analysis, statistical process control, takt time, value stream mapping, 5S, SMED etc.
Train staff in Lean/Six Sigma/CI tool and techniques.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify areas of improvement.
Plan and implement strategies to help the business reach project goals. We would love to hear from you if you’ve had experience in the following –
Ability to implement change projects within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use and demonstrate the use of Quality tools such as SPC, value stream mapping, 5S, SMED, Four Fields analysis, flow, and other problem-solving techniques.
Experience in driving new CI techniques, within a manufacturing environment.
Engineering, or relevant education within a technical division (ideally Six Sigma/Lean) Benefits include –
