CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR Permanent

We are seeking a hands on CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR to join a successful, privately owned construction business based in BILSTON who specialise in commercial and industrial build & refurb projects. Working both within the West Midlands, but also further afield, a salary in the region of £30,000 to £35,000, plus allowances, is being offered depending on skills & experience.

As a hands on CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR you will be responsible for:

• Managing teams of employed & subcontracted construction trades.
• Working on projects right through to customer handover.
• Site wide health & safety.
• Delivering projects to specification, within budget & to timescale.
• Ensuring materials & consumables are available on site.
• Ensuring sufficient trades, equipment & resources are available on site.
• Maintaining the accuracy of work in line with plans.
• Hands on construction work as time & circumstances dictate.

The successful CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR should have the following qualification & experience:

• Working on commercial & industrial builds & renovations.
• An SMSTS / SSSTS qualification.
• Leading teams within a construction site environment.
• Fully aware of health & safety requirements within construction.
• Working to project plans & budgets.
• Hands on construction trade experience.
• Holding a full UK driving license.

This is a hands-on position and will suit either an ambitious tradesman looking for a first step into a more management orientated role or an already experience CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPRVISOR or building site foreman seeking to benefit from a stable income and the stability of a growing and profitable employer.
 

NOTE : This is a permanent, full time position employed directly by the company (or on a sub contract / self employed basis) it IS NOT an agency or limited hours contract.
