This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager from the build industry to join our highly successful main Contractor based in South Leicester, Leicestershire.

Job overview:
As the Construction Project Manager you will work alongside a team of Project Managers as well as closely with Construction Manager and Directors of the company to run projects from design, procurement, delivery and handover.

Projects will range in value from £500k up to £5mill. and you will be responsible for multiple projects at any one time.

Projects are throughout the UK. Type of work – Extensions, refurbs, alterations, new build constructions from the ground up – majority within "live" environments – predominately healthcare, NHS and private.

Key Skills required from the Construction Project Manager include:

• Ability to build strong working relationships within internal and external customers
• Effective communication skills
• Organised and thoroughness to detail
• Commercially aware with strong analytical, numerical and negotiation skills
• Decision making and problem solving skills
• Team working coupled with the ability to motivate, manage and show diplomacy where needed
• Commitment, flexibility and loyalty
• PC Literate (knowledge of MS Project or MS Excel essential)

Qualifications/ Experience required from the Construction Project Manager:

• Experience of managing Construction/ build based projects from the ground up.
• Preferable healthcare project experience and/or shopfitting.
• Excellent knowledge of the building services industry including good M&E knowledge. 
• Worked on projects within "live" environments.
• Ideally a construction related qualification (not essential).
• Full and clean driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel as part of the role
