The role
Our client have been recognised as the most disruptive player within the medical device industry to date. With their surgical robotic system, they are creating waves throughout the UK and Europe and genuinely being described as the ‘future of all surgeries’.
As a Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for the following aspects with the surgical robotic system:
– Preparing content, instructional design, marketing tools to create training tools
– Delivering training workshops, sessions or 1-1’s with surgeons and surgical teams.
– Ensuring competent set-up and operation of the robotic system within hospitals
– Provide guidance, advice and support during the proctored cases.
For this role, you will work closely alongside the Clinical Education team and support training with both surgeons and team members of the company. With your involvement, you can have the opportunity to be one of the first Clinical Trainers and provide a crucial role in the set-up and training programmes for the robotic system.
The hiring manager for this position is seeking an individual with 5+ years that is comfortable with the theatre environment and understands the challenges faced during procedures in the OR.
You will feel comfortable performing 1-1 training sessions with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, whether that be the OR, workshop and cadaver settings. The majority of your time will be spent within hospitals or learning centres throughout the UK, and therefore flexibility with travel is essential.
It is also important that you have had experience in designing, training with Instructional Design. Being at the forefront of the design and implementation of training is an opportunity that will see you develop and grow alongside the reputation of my client, who look to increase their presence in the surgical robotics market in the years to come.
