Job Title: ClinicalCare / Healthcare Assessor

Location: Bristol / Birmingham and surrounding areas – Candidates must be flexible with travel

Salary: Up to £28,000 (Dependent on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties:

• Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship Standards in Clinical Care up to Level 5 (Healthcare Support Worker, Senior Healthcare Support Worker, and Assistant Practitioner).
• Deliver / support learners with Functional Skills (Maths / English) to level 2
• Visiting / observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship qualifications.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised Assessor Award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
• Experience of delivering Clinical Care Apprenticeships, ideally up to Level 5.
• Must hold a recognised Clinical Care qualification or RGN status.
• All candidates must hold an active nursing PIN.
• Have solid occupational experience within Clinical Healthcare, as a clinical professional or Registered Nurse (Hospital / Clinical / Private Medical environments)
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2.
• Full, clean, UK driving licence.
• Must be flexible with travel and visiting learners outside of the normal 9-5 working hours due to some learners working late shifts.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.
