Job Title: Business Development Manager (Rail)

Location: UK

A global supplier to the world’s leading rail manufacturers and transport providers, is now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their ever expanding team.

Reporting to the UK based Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading sales for mostly UK based clients and some within Europe. Your UK location isn’t vital so long as you’re fully flexible with managing your own time on the road, selling specialist rail products / solutions /technologies to manufacturers and service providers.

Some of your responsibilities are listed below –

Identify and attract new business opportunities across the UK.
Develop & manage existing accounts, customer acquisitions and new relationships with prospective customers.
Technical sales of the employer’s products (training provided).
Develop market penetration sales strategies for technology-based solutions.
Working with Project Team to ensure customer’s expectations are met.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Position benefits include –

Knowledge of the rolling stock and/or Rail technologies area is essential.
