Your new role as the Assistant Financial Accountant:

You will have full responsibility for the balance sheet while supporting your superiors. You will provide all the monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation. You will control and update the FAR, assist in producing the management accounts, producing budgets and a variance analysis. You will provide and present financial analysis and monthly MI and have the opportunity to get involved in M&A work. You are likely to oversee 2 members of staff and be instrumental in engaging with them and guiding their work.

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

You will be an expert and show a strong track record with control of the balance sheet and the supporting documentation. You will have full control over the ledgers and cash flows in a previous role. You will need to be in the final stages of your ACA/ACCA or CIMA or potentially newly qualified. If you have worked within manufacturing/ distribution or logistics this will be an advantage, but if not you must have oversee a large volume of fixed assets.
