Assistant Accountant Permanent

We have a super opportunity for an Semi-Senior Accountant. We are a well-established National
Accountancy Practice with many years servicing sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies and are seeking an Accounts professional to join our team. We are an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisors operating across the UK. Working within an experienced accounts team, you will be responsible for providing an excellent accountancy service to a wide portfolio of clients with varying turnovers.
As an Assistant you will be actively studying towards either ACA or ACCA

The company is an established Chartered Accountancy practice with experience in a wide range of businesses.

The main duties will be:
" Personal tax returns
" Complete year end accounts to manager
" Statutory Accounts for Limited Companies
" VAT returns
" Payroll
" Tax – PAYE and Self-Assessment and business returns
" Accounting software – Sage, VT, Xero, Quick Books, Microsoft Office
" Use of IRIS or BTC software preferred
" Complete client bookkeeping
" To prepare and file online

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

" Maintain excellent clients service standards with polite and professional client interaction.
" Lively and friendly personality
" The ability to work to strict deadlines
" Proficient in Running a set of accounts
" Part qualified
" Have previously worked in practice.
