With a competitive benefits package, including a generous pension contribution, flexible working arrangements and numerous opportunities to learn and develop professionally, this is the perfect role for someone who is looking to further their accounts preparation experience and is excited by the prospect of learning from an experienced line manager.The main responsibilities of this Assistant Accountant role include:Take the lead in the production of accounts to trial balance, including preparing accruals and prepayments, calculating depreciations and importing all data into the finance system.Full responsibility for the preparation and posting of journals and reconciling all the relevant organisational accounts in an accurate and timely manner.Sole charge for ensuring that restricted and unrestricted funds have been allocated and coded correctly.Conduct internal audits for your subsidiaries in your area of responsibility, checking all the necessary documentation and writing reports on efficiencies, with suggestions as appropriate.Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with non-financial stakeholders across the region to support on financial matters and improve understanding.This brilliant opportunity would suit a proactive and ambitious individual with experience in producing accounts to trial balance, who is now looking to push themselves and learn and develop within a supportive and dynamic environment.The successful candidate will also have:Experience putting together and posting journals.Ideally, experience working in the charity sector.
