Assistant Accountant Temporary

SF Recruitment are currently working with a market leading manufacturing business in Nottingham looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis for around 12-18 months. You will report into the Senior Management Accountant assisting in key duties.

Responsibilities:
– Support the timely production and accuracy of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
– Responsible for monthly intrastat reports to be produced within statutory deadlines.
– Coordinate and guide the transactional team members in the various activities to ensure the completion of all tasks.
– Support accounts with month end routines, journal postings and P&L analysis.
– Preparation and submission of a set of internal controls.
– Support external audit information.
– Any other reasonable duties as requested.

Our client is ideally looking for candidates who have fantastic Excel skills and strong communication skills. This role is suited to a part qualified, or qualified by experience candidate seeking a varied and interesting role for a great client based in Nottingham.
